Thanks to the 450 x 440mm working area, you will be able to engrave projects of A3 sizes. The new 32-bit motherboard enables a working speed of 36000mm/min. What is more, the TMC2009 silent drivers will let you work in peace and quiet on more than 1000+ supported materials. LONGER Laser B1 comes with a sturdy metal frame, focus positioning bar, XY-axis limit switches, and eight major safety protections for your convenience. It is also compatible with various mature carving software like LaserGRBL or Lightburn and offers multiple transfer options.

The longer laser b1 comes in a long box and is well-packed. It includes all the tools necessary to assemble the laser engraver. I downloaded the trial version of Light Burn and the two together is really great. I am using the engraver in a small room that had a vent and a door to close. I just tried engraving bottles, cards, etc. It is a really great machine.

Geekbuying has been very well working with him. Bought some extensions to go on it. If you want it to cut thin wood or engrave, the 20w version is enough. But if you will mainly focus on cutting, i would suggest the 30w. That was also my choice.

If this is your first machine, it comes with an APP, it will make the job easy. But if you are a professional, i would suggest the lightburn which is paid. overall I can’t say enough about this machine. It has been amazing and has kept him busy and out of my hair.

Cutting wood is tricky for a blue diode laser I did cut thin wood and acrylic in multiple passes. Still going strong after 2 months, this is a great laser engraving machine for engraving on wood and other materials.

Let’s start with building this, estimated time 30-40 mins actual time 2-4 hours. Moving onward the laser engraver for the price is amazing. There’s a lot of settings you have to mess around with to actually get a decent cut maneuvering the speed and power. First day you get it you’ll start engraving everything from coasters to corks, to journals I even engraved my slipper which was the last straw for my wife. Now im strictly on wood. I would recommend getting the model with the acmer laser bed and you need good ventilation for cutting and protection for your table.

Great machine with 450 x 440mm large engraving area. There is definitely a learning curve.
